League Of Legends Band Pentakill Debut First Music Video, New Album Out Now

We know a lot of you metalheads are pretty big gamers and that's what makes Pentakill so unique. Recorded in the catacombs of the Shadow Isles, the album was engineered and produced by Riot Games in Los Angeles, CA and London, UK; with mixing and mastering duties being handled by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, EPICA, DORO etc.). Pentakill Kayle is the newest member of the group and provides excellent backing vocals for the band.

A heavy metal band from the massively popular online video game League of Legends, Pentakill operates somewhere between the opulent, fantasy-driven power metal of Dragonforce and the cleverly constructed inside metal stylings of Dethklok. Gamepedia's League of Legends Esports wiki covers tournaments, teams, players, and personalities in League of Legends.

While the release date hasn't been officially announced yet, hopefully, this new album will inspire a second round of Pentakill skins for the in-game characters that are considered part of the band. Riot Games has teased a new Kayle skin for League of Legends, and it rocks.

In 2014, the Riot Games music label issued the band's first foray out of the video game realm, "Smite And Ignite" — an eight-track collection of appropriately punishing songs that was written completely in-house at Riot, and supported by the talents of studio musicians, including ZP Theart of DRAGONFORCE, Derek Sherinian of DREAM THEATER, Lohner and Lande.

For those not familiar with Pentakill and League of Legends : League of Legends is the worlds most popular online game with visits of more than 100 million players every month. It's also something that rarely happens in "League of Legends" competitive play: Teams form strategies against such devastation.

Conceived by California-based gaming gurus Riot Games in 2014, Pentakill exist purely in the imaginations of their creators - and the 100 million global fans of League of Legends , the multiplayer online battle arena game that spawned the band's members, Karthus the Deathsinger, Yorick, Sona, Olaf and lead guitarist Mordekaiser the Master of Metal.

"League of Legends" is a carefully-played tactical game, very different from twitch-based games like "Call of Duty." It's brazen for a single player on any team to take down the entire opposing team, but it's a risky move that paid off twice yesterday for two now number one teams.

If you could get a whole team full of Pentakill skins, then their recall animations would be an awesome sight. In-game, Pentakill is a five-person band made up of Mordekaiser, Karthus, Yorick, Sona, and Olaf. Pentakill Kayle is headlining the League store at 1350 RP. Wield the voice of a hellion-valkyrie as you bring weaker popular warriors to their knees with relentless waves of operatic fury.

Entirely under the mainstream radar, the band's new CGI video, Mortal Reminder, notched up more than 3m views in less than 48 hours after its release - and the new album, Grasp of the Undying, seems destined to be a huge success. The original in-game band is composed of Mordekaiser, Karthus, Olaf, Sona, and Yorick.

We've also got the names of all the songs from the credits - aside from those two singles, we'll have "Frozen Heart," "Infinity Edge," "Rapid Firecannon," "Cull," "Mortal Reminder," "Dead Man's Plate," "The Blade of the Ruined King," and "The Hex Core mk-2." I never realised until now quite how metal the items in League of Legends sound.
